Calendar Views

Timeblu offers three calendar views to help you manage your schedule at different levels of detail: Month, Week, and Day.

Month View

The Month view provides a high-level overview of your entire month.

Best For

  • Long-term planning
  • Seeing patterns in your schedule
  • Quickly identifying busy and free days

Features

  • Shows all days in the current month
  • Sessions displayed as compact cards
  • Click a day to expand and see details
  • Navigate between months using arrows

Limitations

  • Limited space for session details
  • Better for overview than detailed scheduling

Week View

The Week view is the default view and shows your week in detail.

Best For

  • Day-to-day scheduling
  • Viewing session times clearly
  • Drag & drop rescheduling

Features

  • 7-day view (or 5 days with weekends hidden)
  • Hourly time grid
  • Full session details visible
  • Drag sessions between days and times
  • Working hours highlighted

Time Grid

  • Shows hours based on your configured start time (default: 9 AM)
  • Scrollable to see earlier or later hours
  • Non-working hours are dimmed

Day View

The Day view focuses on a single day for detailed scheduling.

Best For

  • Busy days with many sessions
  • Detailed scheduling
  • Reviewing a specific day

Features

  • Full detail for all sessions
  • Maximum space for session information
  • Clear time blocks
  • Easy to see overlapping appointments

Switching Views

Using the View Selector

  1. Look for the view toggle in the calendar toolbar
  2. Click Month, Week, or Day
  3. The calendar updates immediately

Using Keyboard Shortcuts

From Month to Day

Click on any day in Month view to jump to that day in Day view.

Moving Between Periods

Use the navigation arrows to move through time:

  • Month view: Previous/Next month
  • Week view: Previous/Next week
  • Day view: Previous/Next day

Going to Today

Click the Today button (or press T) to jump to the current date.

Selecting a Specific Date

  1. Click the date display in the toolbar
  2. A calendar picker appears
  3. Select your desired date
  4. The view updates to that date

View Preferences

Your preferred view is saved automatically. Timeblu remembers:

  • Your last selected view
  • Your scroll position in week/day view
  • Which calendars are visible

Pro Tip: Use Week view for daily work, but switch to Month view at the end of each week to plan ahead.

Display Options

Customize how your calendar looks:

Show/Hide Weekends

Don’t work weekends? Hide them to focus on your working days.

Show/Hide Cancelled Sessions

Control whether cancelled sessions appear on your calendar in Calendar Display settings.

Calendar Start Hour

Change when your calendar day starts in Settings > Calendar.
