Invoice History

Access all your billing history, download invoices, and manage receipts for accounting purposes.

Accessing Invoices

From Subscription Settings

  1. Go to Settings > Subscription
  2. Find Billing History or Invoices section
  3. View list of all transactions

Invoice List

The invoice list displays:

Understanding Invoices

Invoice Details

Each invoice includes:

  • Invoice Number - Unique identifier
  • Date - Billing date
  • Period - Service period covered
  • Plan - Subscription tier
  • Amount - Total charged
  • Payment Method - Card used (last 4 digits)
  • Status - Payment status

Downloading Invoices

Single Invoice

  1. Find the invoice in your history
  2. Click Download or the PDF icon
  3. Invoice downloads as PDF

All Invoices

If you need all invoices:

  1. Download each one individually
  2. Or contact support for bulk export

Invoice Statuses

StatusMeaning

Failed Invoices

If an invoice shows β€œFailed”:

  1. Check your payment method
  2. Update card if needed
  3. Payment will retry automatically
  4. Or manually retry payment

Using Invoices for Accounting

Business Expenses

Invoices can be used for:

  • Tax deductions
  • Business expense tracking
  • Accounting records

Required Information

Timeblu invoices include:

  • Our business details
  • Your billing information
  • Invoice date and number
  • Amount and currency
  • Service description

Updating Billing Information

For proper invoices, ensure your billing info is accurate:

  1. Go to Settings > Subscription
  2. Update Billing Information
  3. Include:
    • Business name (if applicable)
    • Full address
    • Tax ID (if applicable)

Future invoices will reflect updated billing information. Past invoices aren’t modified.

Invoice Notifications

Email Receipts

After each successful payment:

  • Email receipt sent automatically
  • Contains invoice summary
  • Link to full invoice

Failed Payment Notifications

If payment fails:

  • Email notification sent
  • Explains the issue
  • Instructions to resolve

Control billing emails in your notification settings.

Finding Specific Invoices

By Date

Scroll through history chronologically, or use date filters if available.

By Invoice Number

If you have an invoice number:

  1. Search in billing history (if search available)
  2. Or scroll to find by date

By Amount

Look for specific amounts when reconciling accounts.

Refund Records

Refunded Invoices

If you received a refund:

  • Original invoice shows β€œRefunded”
  • Separate credit note may be created
  • Both appear in history

Partial Refunds

For partial refunds:

  • Original invoice shows original amount
  • Credit note shows refund amount
  • Net effect visible in history

Common Questions

Can I get an invoice before paying?

No, invoices are generated after successful payment. You can view upcoming charges in subscription settings.

How far back does history go?

Your complete billing history since account creation is maintained.

Can I change details on a past invoice?

No, past invoices cannot be modified. Update billing info for future invoices.

What currency are invoices in?

Invoices are in EUR (€), matching the charge currency.

Can I get invoices with VAT?

Invoices include any applicable taxes based on your location. Update your billing address for accurate tax treatment.

Troubleshooting

Invoice Not Received

If you didn’t receive an email:

  1. Check spam/junk folder
  2. Verify email address in settings
  3. Download directly from billing history

Incorrect Invoice Details

If details are wrong:

  1. Update billing information
  2. Future invoices will be correct
  3. Contact support for past invoice issues

Missing Invoice

If an invoice is missing from history:

  1. Check the date range
  2. Verify the payment was successful
  3. Contact support if still missing
