Free Tier Limits

The free tier gives you access to Timeblu’s core features with some limitations. This page explains what’s included and what those limits mean for your practice.

Calendar Limit

What It Means

You can create and use one calendar on the free plan.

Impact

  • All sessions are on one calendar
  • Working hours set for that single calendar
  • No ability to separate schedules

Workaround

If you need schedule separation:

  • Use events to block time
  • Differentiate with services instead of calendars
  • Upgrade to Pro for up to 3 calendars

Client Limit

What It Means

You can have up to 20 clients in your database.

How It Works

  • Each client record counts as 1
  • Both active and inactive clients count
  • Deleted clients don’t count

Approaching the Limit

At 16 clients (80%):

  • Warning indicator appears
  • Full functionality remains

At 19 clients (95%):

  • Strong warning shown
  • Consider upgrading or cleaning up

At 20 clients:

  • Cannot add new clients
  • Cannot accept new online bookings
  • Can still work with existing clients

What to Do

Options when at the limit:

  1. Delete inactive clients - Remove those you no longer see
  2. Upgrade to Pro - Unlimited clients for €9/month

Deleting a client removes them from the count. Their session history remains (showing “Deleted Client”).

Session Limit

What It Means

You can create up to 15 sessions per month on the free plan.

How It Works

  • Counter resets on the 1st of each month
  • All session types count (pending, confirmed, cancelled)
  • Sessions from online booking count
  • Recurring session instances count individually

Tracking Your Usage

View your session count:

  • On the dashboard
  • In the session creation flow
  • Warning when approaching limit

At the Limit

When you’ve used 15 sessions:

  • Cannot create new sessions
  • Cannot accept online bookings
  • Existing sessions unaffected
  • Wait until next month, or upgrade

What to Do

  1. Wait for next month - Counter resets
