Basic Metrics

Basic metrics are available to all Timeblu users, including those on the free plan. These foundational numbers help you track your business at a glance.

Available Basic Metrics

Total Clients

The total number of clients in your database.

What it shows:

  • Count of all client records
  • Includes active and inactive clients
  • Does not include deleted clients

Why it matters:

  • Track client base growth
  • Monitor approach to plan limits (Free: 20)
  • Measure client acquisition

Sessions This Month

Total sessions scheduled in the current calendar month.

What it shows:

  • All sessions in current month
  • Includes all statuses (pending, confirmed, cancelled)
  • Counts completed sessions too

Why it matters:

  • Track monthly activity
  • Monitor approach to limits (Free: 15/month)
  • Compare month-over-month

Sessions This Week

Sessions scheduled in the current week.

What it shows:

  • Sessions from Monday to Sunday (or your week start)
  • Current week only
  • All statuses included

Why it matters:

  • See immediate workload
  • Plan your week
  • Quick activity check

Upcoming Sessions

Sessions scheduled for the future.

What it shows:

  • Confirmed and pending sessions
  • From today forward
  • Does not include cancelled

Why it matters:

  • See your pipeline
  • Know what’s coming
  • Identify gaps in schedule

Active Clients

Clients with recent session activity.

What it shows:

  • Clients with sessions in a recent period (typically 30-90 days)
  • Indicates engaged clients

Why it matters:

  • Distinguish active from dormant clients
  • Focus retention efforts
  • Track engagement health

Using Basic Metrics

Daily Check

Quick morning routine:

  1. How many sessions today/this week?
  2. Any upcoming gaps to fill?
  3. Client count status?

Weekly Review

End of week analysis:

  1. How did sessions compare to last week?
  2. Any new clients added?
  3. What’s the upcoming week look like?

Monthly Summary

Month-end review:

  1. Total sessions this month vs last
  2. Client growth
  3. Active client ratio

What’s Not Counted

  • Deleted clients (removed from counts)
  • Events (only sessions count)
  • Test or dummy data (counts as real)

Plan Limit Indicators

On the free plan, watch these limits:

Client Limit

Clients: 15/20
  • Visual indicator when approaching limit
  • Warning at 16+ clients
  • Blocked at 20 clients

Session Limit

Sessions: 12/15
  • Monthly counter
  • Resets at start of each month
  • Warning when approaching limit
