Services Overview

Services (also called session types) define the types of appointments you offer. Each service has its own name, duration, price, and configuration.

What is a Service?

A service represents a type of appointment, such as:

  • “Initial Consultation” (60 minutes, free)
  • “Coaching Session” (50 minutes, €80)
  • “Extended Session” (90 minutes, €120)
  • “Quick Check-in” (30 minutes, €40)

When booking a session, you select a service to determine the duration and price.

Service Best Practices

Naming Services

  • Use clear, client-friendly names
  • Avoid internal jargon
  • Be specific about what’s included

Setting Durations

  • Include wrap-up time in duration
  • Use standard increments (30, 45, 60, 90 min)
  • Consider booking buffer for notes time

Color Coding

Use consistent colors:

  • Blue for standard sessions
  • Green for initial consultations
  • Purple for premium services
  • Orange for group sessions

Online Booking Integration

Services appear on your public booking page (Pro+):

  1. Client visits your booking page
  2. Sees list of public services
  3. Selects one to book
  4. Follows booking wizard

Only public services appear on the booking page. Mark services as private if they should only be booked internally.

Getting Started

  1. Create your first service - Set up appointment types
  2. Configure pricing - Set prices and deposits
  3. Link to calendars - Control where services are offered
  4. Set visibility - Choose public or private

Start with 2-3 core services. You can always add more as your business grows.
