Calendar Basics
How do I switch between calendar views?
Click the view buttons (Month, Week, Day) in the calendar toolbar, or use keyboard shortcuts:
- M for Month
- W for Week
- D for Day
How do I go to today?
Click the Today button in the toolbar, or press T.
How do I hide weekends?
Toggle the “Hide Weekends” option in the calendar toolbar. This hides Saturday and Sunday from view.
How do I change my calendar start time?
Go to Settings > Calendar and adjust the Calendar Start Hour setting.
Creating Sessions
How do I create a session?
- Click on a time slot in the calendar
- Select New Session
- Choose a client and service
- Confirm the details
- Click Save
What’s the difference between a session and an event?

How do I create a recurring session?
- Create a session as normal
- After saving, select Make Recurring
- Choose the recurrence pattern
- Save
Can I book sessions back-to-back?
Yes, but consider using buffer time on services to give yourself breaks between sessions.
Managing Sessions
How do I edit a session?
Click on the session in your calendar, then click Edit to modify details.
How do I reschedule a session?
Option 1: Click and drag the session to a new time slot.
Option 2: Click the session, click Edit, and change the date/time.
How do I cancel a session?
- Click on the session
- Click Cancel or change status to “Cancelled”
- Confirm cancellation
Cancelled sessions can be hidden via Settings > Calendar.
What do the session statuses mean?

Multiple Calendars
How do I create another calendar?
Go to Calendars and click Add Calendar. Free plan has 1 calendar, Pro has 3, Premium is unlimited.
Can I see all calendars at once?
Yes, by default all calendars display. Use the calendar checkboxes in the sidebar to show/hide specific calendars.
How do I set different working hours per calendar?
Edit each calendar individually to set unique working hours.
Reminders
How do reminders work?
Timeblu sends automatic reminders:
- 24 hours before (all plans)
- 2 hours before (Pro+)
- SMS/WhatsApp (Pro+)
Can I customize reminder messages?
Currently, reminder messages use standard templates. Custom templates may be available in future updates.
Why didn’t my client receive a reminder?
Check:
- Client has an email/phone on file
- Reminders are enabled in settings
- Session was confirmed (not pending/cancelled)
- Client’s spam folder
Online Booking
Can clients book themselves?
Yes, with Pro or Premium subscription. Enable online booking in Settings.
How do I enable online booking?
- Go to Settings > Online Booking
- Turn on booking
- Set your username
- Share your booking link
How do clients book online?
Clients visit your booking page (timeblu.com/your-username), select a service, choose a time, and enter their details.
Working Hours & Availability
How do I set my working hours?
- Go to Calendars
- Edit your calendar
- Configure working hours for each day
- Save
How do I block time off?
Create an Event (not session) to block time. For whole days, create an all-day event or add a holiday.
How do I add holidays?
Go to Settings > Calendar > Holidays to import country holidays or add custom ones.
Troubleshooting
Sessions aren’t showing on my calendar
- Check you’re viewing the correct date range
- Verify the calendar is checked in sidebar
- Check display settings (show cancelled/pending)
- Try refreshing the page
Clients can’t see available times
- Verify working hours are configured
- Check you’re not fully booked
- Confirm service is linked to calendars
- Check minimum notice and advance booking settings
Drag and drop isn’t working
- Try clicking more precisely on the session
- Ensure session isn’t cancelled
- Try a different browser
- Refresh the page
