Campaign Results
💎Max When you open a campaign that has been sent, the first thing you see is the Results tab: how many clients booked after receiving it, how much money it brought in and what it cost you. The list of messages, client by client, is in the Sends tab, and the message that went out is in Content.
Which bookings count for a campaign
An appointment counts for a campaign in one of two ways:
- From the link in the message. If the client opens the booking link in the email or SMS and books, the appointment counts for that send always: even if they book weeks later, even if another campaign reaches them in between, and even if they forwarded the message and someone else books with it.
- Another way, within the next 30 days. If the client books some other way (calls you, visits your page without the link, or you add the appointment in the calendar) within 30 days of the send, it counts too. If they received another campaign in that time, the booking counts for the most recent one.
A booking never counts twice. Cancelled appointments, appointments booked before the send, past visits you log afterwards and history brought in with an import never count.
A client who booked after a campaign did not necessarily book because of it: a regular might have come back anyway. Bookings from the link are the clearest sign that the message worked.
The figures
| Figure | What it means |
|---|---|
| Sent | Messages that went out, with the failed ones below. Test sends never count. |
| Booked | Sends with at least one booking, and their share of the sends. When the messages carried the booking link, below you see how many booked from the link and how many another way. |
| Revenue | The price of the appointments it brought: collected (completed appointments) and expected (those still ahead). No-shows add nothing. |
| Cost | What it cost you on top of your plan: only pay-as-you-go SMS, at €0.07 each. Emails and the SMS included in your plan cost nothing extra (“No extra cost”). |
| Clicks | Sends whose booking link was opened at least once, and their share of the sends that carried the link. Only shown when the message included the link. |
| Appointments | The visits booked. Several services on the same day count as one appointment, but their revenue adds up. |
| Days to book | The median number of days between the send and the booking. “Same day” when clients usually book the same day. |
| No-shows | Appointments from the campaign the client did not turn up to, out of all its appointments. |
| Unsubscribes | Clients who unsubscribed themselves within 30 days of the send. Opt-outs you set on a client’s record do not count. |
When the campaign has a cost, the Cost card shows the return: “For every €1 spent, X collected”, based on the revenue already collected.
During the 30 days after the last send, a line warns that the figures may still grow until a given date: bookings made another way can still come in.
The booking link and clicks
Every message goes out with its own link: your booking page with a short code at the end
(?c=...). That is how Timeblu knows which send the client opened and which booking came from it. The
code does not identify the client and only works on your page.
- To measure clicks and bookings from the link, include the
{{booking_url}}variable in the message: in a button or a link in the email, or in the SMS text. See Creating Campaigns. - Several clicks on the same send count as one.
- For SMS, the character counter already includes the code.
- When a message did not carry the link, the campaign shows no clicks and all its bookings count as another way.
The Sends tab
Each row is a message that was sent. The last column says what happened next:
- Booked on and the appointment date: a booking counts for that send.
- No booking yet: no booking, but 30 days have not passed yet.
- No booking in 30 days: the 30 days passed without a booking.
The number of “Booked on” rows always matches the Booked figure.
In the campaigns list
- The Last 30 days band at the top adds up all your campaigns: the messages sent and their cost in those 30 days, and the bookings and revenue of the appointments booked in those 30 days.
- The Bookings column of each campaign shows how many booked and their share of the sends.
- The System campaigns cards (Auto Win-back and the Birthday Greeting) add their bookings.
Automatic campaigns
Auto Win-back and the Birthday Greeting also open on Results once they have sent something. Their figures are the total since you turned them on, and below them the By month table shows the 12 most recent months with sends (in your business timezone). When there are earlier months, Show earlier months loads 12 more each time, so the whole table adds up to the cards.
Reusing a sent campaign
A campaign that has started sending cannot be edited, so everyone receives the same message. To reuse it, click Duplicate: it creates a draft “Name (copy)” with the same channel, content, template and audience, without a date, and opens it for you to review.
Ask the assistant
The assistant answers with the same figures as the Results tab. Try “How did the Christmas campaign do?” or “How much have my campaigns brought in this month?”.
