Your Agenda on Your Phone

Subscribe a Timeblu calendar in the calendar app you already use. Appointments, blocked time and recurring events appear next to your personal events and update on their own. Available on every plan.

Subscribing

  1. Open Settings > Calendar > Calendars and scroll to Your agenda on your phone.
  2. Each active calendar has two buttons. Tap the one for your phone:
    • On an iPhone or a Mac: “Open in Apple Calendar”. Calendar opens and asks you to confirm the subscription. It then appears on every Apple device signed in to your iCloud.
    • On an Android phone, or if you live in Google Calendar: “Add to Google Calendar”. Google Calendar opens with the subscription ready; confirm with “Add calendar”.
  3. The row now reads Active and tells you when the feed was last read.

If you use Google Calendar on an iPhone, use the Apple button anyway. A calendar added to Google by URL does not reach the iPhone’s Calendar app unless you enable it by hand in Google’s “sync” settings, and Google refreshes it much less often.

What you see

  • Appointments with the service name, and “(pending)” in front of the ones the client has not confirmed yet. Cancelled appointments disappear on the next refresh.
  • Blocked time, vacations and meetings, with the title you gave them.
  • Recurring events, each repetition on its day.
  • Tapping an event opens that day in Timeblu.

By default the client’s name is not included, so the feed shows what your day looks like, not who is coming. Turn on Include client names under the list if you want “Marta García · Manicure” instead of “Manicure”. Notes, phone numbers and form answers are never included.

How often it refreshes

  • Apple Calendar refreshes at the interval you choose in the subscription’s settings on the device, down to every 15 minutes.
  • Google Calendar refreshes subscribed calendars on its own schedule, which can take up to 24 hours. A change you make in Timeblu is not a problem in Timeblu if Google still shows the old time.

Keeping it private

The subscription works through a private link. Anyone who has that link can see the calendar, so Timeblu never shows it as text: the two buttons are the only way to use it.

  • If you think the link was shared, open the row’s menu and choose Regenerate link. The old link stops working at once and you subscribe again on your phone.
  • Disable removes the link; the calendar disappears from every phone subscribed to it.
  • Changing your Timeblu password also disables every subscription. Subscribe again afterwards.
