Managing Your Subscription
View your current plan, update payment methods, and manage your subscription settings all in one place.
Accessing Subscription Settings
Navigate to Settings > Subscription from the sidebar.
Viewing Current Plan
Plan Information
Your subscription page shows:
- Current Plan - Free, Pro, or Premium
- Status - Active, cancelled, or past due
- Price - Monthly cost
- Next Billing Date - When you’ll be charged
- Features - What’s included
Subscription Status
| Status | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Active | Subscription is current |
| Past Due | Payment failed, needs attention |
| Cancelled | Set to end at period end |
| Expired | Reverted to free plan |
Changing Plans
Upgrading
To move to a higher tier:
- Go to Settings > Subscription
- Click Upgrade or select a higher plan
- Confirm the change
- Features unlock immediately
Billing on upgrade:
- Prorated charge for remaining days
- New rate applies next cycle
Downgrading
To move to a lower tier:
- Go to Settings > Subscription
- Click Downgrade or select a lower plan
- Confirm the change
- Access continues until end of billing period
Billing on downgrade:
- No refund for unused time
- Lower rate applies next cycle
- Features reduce at cycle end
When downgrading, review your usage. If you exceed the new plan’s limits, some features will become restricted.
Updating Payment Method
Adding a New Card
- Go to Settings > Subscription
- Find Payment Method section
- Click Update or Add Card
- Enter new card details
- Save
Changing Default Card
If you have multiple cards:
- View saved payment methods
- Click Make Default on desired card
- Confirm
Removing a Card
- View saved payment methods
- Click Remove on the card
- Confirm (must have another card if subscribed)
Billing Information
Updating Billing Address
For accurate invoices:
- Go to Settings > Subscription
- Find Billing Information
- Click Edit
- Update:
- Business name
- Address
- Tax ID (if applicable)
- Save
Billing Contact
Update who receives billing communications:
- Email for receipts and invoices
- Usually your account email
Viewing Billing History
See all past charges:
- Go to Settings > Subscription
- Click Billing History or View Invoices
- View list of past transactions
Each entry shows:
- Date
- Amount
- Status (paid, failed)
- Invoice link
Cancelling Your Subscription
How to Cancel
- Go to Settings > Subscription
- Click Cancel Subscription
- Confirm cancellation
- Optional: provide feedback
What Happens After Cancellation
- Immediate: Status changes to “Cancelled”
- Until period end: Full access continues
- At period end: Reverts to free plan
- Data: All data is preserved
After Cancellation
You keep:
- All client records
- All session history
- Access to basic features
You lose:
- Premium/Pro exclusive features
- Online booking (Pro+)
- Extra calendars (use limited to first calendar)
Reactivating a Cancelled Subscription
If you’ve cancelled but want to continue:
- Go to Settings > Subscription
- Click Reactivate (before period ends)
- Subscription continues uninterrupted
If period has ended:
- Go to Settings > Subscription
- Choose a plan
- Enter payment method
- Subscribe again
Failed Payments
What Happens
If a payment fails:
- You receive an email notification
- Subscription status changes to “Past Due”
- Grace period begins (typically 3-7 days)
- Retry attempts are made automatically
Resolving Failed Payments
- Update your payment method
- Ensure sufficient funds
- Check card isn’t expired
- Payment will retry automatically
If Not Resolved
After grace period:
- Subscription is cancelled
- Account reverts to free plan
- Data is preserved

Troubleshooting
Can’t Upgrade
- Check payment method is valid
- Ensure card isn’t declined
- Try a different card
- Contact support
Payment Keeps Failing
- Verify card details
- Check with your bank
- Try a different card
- Check for fraud blocks
Don’t See Expected Features
- Verify subscription is active
- Check you’re on the correct plan
- Try logging out and back in
- Clear browser cache
