Managing Your Subscription

View your current plan, update payment methods, and manage your subscription settings all in one place.

Accessing Subscription Settings

Navigate to Settings > Subscription from the sidebar.

Viewing Current Plan

Plan Information

Your subscription page shows:

  • Current Plan - Free, Pro, or Premium
  • Status - Active, cancelled, or past due
  • Price - Monthly cost
  • Next Billing Date - When you’ll be charged
  • Features - What’s included

Subscription Status

StatusMeaning
ActiveSubscription is current
Past DuePayment failed, needs attention
CancelledSet to end at period end
ExpiredReverted to free plan

Changing Plans

Upgrading

To move to a higher tier:

  1. Go to Settings > Subscription
  2. Click Upgrade or select a higher plan
  3. Confirm the change
  4. Features unlock immediately

Billing on upgrade:

  • Prorated charge for remaining days
  • New rate applies next cycle

Downgrading

To move to a lower tier:

  1. Go to Settings > Subscription
  2. Click Downgrade or select a lower plan
  3. Confirm the change
  4. Access continues until end of billing period

Billing on downgrade:

  • No refund for unused time
  • Lower rate applies next cycle
  • Features reduce at cycle end

When downgrading, review your usage. If you exceed the new plan’s limits, some features will become restricted.

Updating Payment Method

Adding a New Card

  1. Go to Settings > Subscription
  2. Find Payment Method section
  3. Click Update or Add Card
  4. Enter new card details
  5. Save

Changing Default Card

If you have multiple cards:

  1. View saved payment methods
  2. Click Make Default on desired card
  3. Confirm

Removing a Card

  1. View saved payment methods
  2. Click Remove on the card
  3. Confirm (must have another card if subscribed)

Billing Information

Updating Billing Address

For accurate invoices:

  1. Go to Settings > Subscription
  2. Find Billing Information
  3. Click Edit
  4. Update:
    • Business name
    • Address
    • Tax ID (if applicable)
  5. Save

Billing Contact

Update who receives billing communications:

  • Email for receipts and invoices
  • Usually your account email

Viewing Billing History

See all past charges:

  1. Go to Settings > Subscription
  2. Click Billing History or View Invoices
  3. View list of past transactions

Each entry shows:

  • Date
  • Amount
  • Status (paid, failed)
  • Invoice link

Cancelling Your Subscription

How to Cancel

  1. Go to Settings > Subscription
  2. Click Cancel Subscription
  3. Confirm cancellation
  4. Optional: provide feedback

What Happens After Cancellation

  • Immediate: Status changes to “Cancelled”
  • Until period end: Full access continues
  • At period end: Reverts to free plan
  • Data: All data is preserved

After Cancellation

You keep:

  • All client records
  • All session history
  • Access to basic features

You lose:

  • Premium/Pro exclusive features
  • Online booking (Pro+)
  • Extra calendars (use limited to first calendar)
You can resubscribe anytime to regain access to paid features.

Reactivating a Cancelled Subscription

If you’ve cancelled but want to continue:

  1. Go to Settings > Subscription
  2. Click Reactivate (before period ends)
  3. Subscription continues uninterrupted

If period has ended:

  1. Go to Settings > Subscription
  2. Choose a plan
  3. Enter payment method
  4. Subscribe again

Failed Payments

What Happens

If a payment fails:

  1. You receive an email notification
  2. Subscription status changes to “Past Due”
  3. Grace period begins (typically 3-7 days)
  4. Retry attempts are made automatically

Resolving Failed Payments

  1. Update your payment method
  2. Ensure sufficient funds
  3. Check card isn’t expired
  4. Payment will retry automatically

If Not Resolved

After grace period:

  • Subscription is cancelled
  • Account reverts to free plan
  • Data is preserved

Common Tasks

Change Plan

Settings > Subscription > Select new plan > Confirm

Update Card

Settings > Subscription > Payment Method > Update

View Receipts

Settings > Subscription > Billing History

Cancel

Settings > Subscription > Cancel Subscription

Reactivate

Settings > Subscription > Reactivate (if still in period)

Troubleshooting

Can’t Upgrade

  • Check payment method is valid
  • Ensure card isn’t declined
  • Try a different card
  • Contact support

Payment Keeps Failing

  • Verify card details
  • Check with your bank
  • Try a different card
  • Check for fraud blocks

Don’t See Expected Features

  • Verify subscription is active
  • Check you’re on the correct plan
  • Try logging out and back in
  • Clear browser cache
