How to Start

Sign Up

Visit timeblu.com , click Start Free Trial, and create your account. (If you click Subscribe on Pro instead, you’ll still be offered the Max trial — you can downgrade to Pro during or after.)

Activate the Trial

Once you land in the dashboard, a welcome modal appears titled Start your 30-day Max trial. Click Activate trial.

Enter Card Details

Stripe Checkout opens. Enter your card information.

You won’t be charged today. Stripe shows €0.00 due now and a clear “30-day trial” indicator. Your card is only saved for the first invoice on day 30.

Start Using Max

After completing Stripe Checkout, you’re back on the dashboard with full Max access. A welcome confirmation block shows your trial end date.

If you close the trial modal with Maybe later, the standard welcome modal opens in place. You can still start the trial at any time before day 30 from Settings > Subscription.

What Happens at Day 30

On day 30, Stripe automatically charges €29 for your first month of Max. You’ll receive an invoice by email, and your subscription rolls into a normal monthly billing cycle.

If you don’t want to be charged:

  • Cancel before day 30 - you keep Max access through day 30, then drop to the free plan. No charge.
  • Downgrade to Pro before day 30 - you keep Max through day 30, then automatically switch to Pro (€19/month) on day 30. The first paid charge is €19, not €29.

You can do both from Settings > Subscription at any point during the trial.

Mid-Trial Downgrade to Pro

Want some paid features but not the full Max kit? You can schedule a downgrade to Pro that takes effect when your trial ends:

Open Subscription Settings

Go to Settings > Subscription.

Click Downgrade on the Pro Card

The Pro plan card shows a Downgrade button while you’re on Max trial.

Confirm the Scheduled Change

Your current plan card now shows “Your plan will change to Pro on [day-30 date].” You still have full Max access until then. On day 30, Stripe charges €19 (Pro), and the subscription continues as a normal Pro plan.

If you change your mind, click Cancel scheduled change on the same card to keep Max.

Mid-Trial Cancellation

If you decide Timeblu isn’t for you:

Open Subscription Settings

Go to Settings > Subscription.

Click Cancel Subscription

A confirmation dialog explains: you keep Max access through day 30, then drop to the free plan at no charge.

Confirm

Your trial continues normally until day 30. No invoice is generated. On day 30, your subscription cancels and you’re moved to the free plan automatically.

You can reactivate any time before day 30 from the same page if you change your mind.

One Trial Per User

The 30-day free trial is available once per account, lifetime. Once you start a trial, the eligibility flag is consumed - even if you cancel before day 30 or never let the trial convert to paid.

If you’ve previously used your trial:

  • The Max plan card shows Subscribe (not “Start free trial”).
  • Clicking it goes straight to Stripe Checkout with €29 charged immediately.
  • You can still subscribe normally - you just won’t get another free 30 days.

This applies to the email/account, not the card or business. Creating a new account with a different email to get another trial is against our Terms of Service.

Pay-as-You-Go SMS During the Trial

SMS reminders work normally during the trial. The 50/month included SMS allowance applies.

If you enable Pay-as-You-Go (PAYG) SMS during the trial:

  • Each overage SMS is charged at €0.07.
  • Charges accrue during the trial and are billed on your first paid invoice on day 30.
  • The subscription page shows a running PAYG count and estimated cost while you’re on trial.

PAYG SMS are not free during the trial - only the base Max plan is free. If you cancel before day 30, no invoice is issued and PAYG charges are not collected. If you let the trial convert to paid, both the €29 base and the accrued PAYG charges appear on the first invoice.

Failed Payment at Trial End

If your card fails when we try to charge it on day 30, your subscription automatically cancels and you drop to the free plan. No partial billing, no surprise interruptions - just a clean cancellation.

You’ll get an email letting you know. You can re-subscribe any time, but you won’t get another free trial.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why do you require a card if I won’t be charged?

Two reasons. First, it cuts down on trial abuse - bots and casual signups don’t bother entering card details, so the people who do are real prospects. Second, it makes the conversion to paid frictionless: when day 30 arrives, billing just works, no awkward “enter your card now” interruption.

What if I haven’t used Timeblu much by day 30?

Cancel before day 30 to avoid being charged. If you change your mind later, you can subscribe normally (without the free trial). No data is lost - your account stays, just on the free plan.

Can I trial Pro instead of Max?

No, the trial itself is Max-only. But if you clicked Subscribe on Pro from the landing page, you’ll still be offered the Max trial first (it’s a better deal — same 30 free days). You can then downgrade to Pro at any point during the trial, and on day 30 you’ll be charged €19 instead of €29.

If you’ve already used your trial, clicking Subscribe on Pro goes straight to Stripe Checkout (€19/month, charged immediately).

Does the trial reset my monthly SMS or AI usage?

No. SMS and AI Assistant usage counters reset on the 1st of each calendar month, independent of your billing or trial cycle. If you start a trial on the 25th and use all 50 SMS in 6 days, you’ll have 0 SMS available until the 1st of next month.

What happens to my data if I drop to the free plan?

Everything stays - calendars, clients, appointments, history. Only the features beyond the free plan become unavailable. If you re-subscribe later, everything reactivates as it was.
