Audience & Unsubscribes
💎Max Every campaign is sent to an audience: the set of clients that match your conditions at the moment the campaign sends.
Who is included by default
With no conditions, the audience is all clients who:
- can be reached on the campaign’s channel (an email address for email campaigns, a phone number for SMS campaigns), and
- have not unsubscribed from your marketing messages.
The Preview recipients button on the campaign form shows the current match count, how many of those clients have an email or phone on file, and a few example names.
Narrowing with conditions
Click Add condition to filter by session history. Each condition reads like a sentence:
Client HAS HAD / HAS NOT HAD at least N sessions of these services in the last N days with a total spend of at least X.
Every part is optional:
- Services - leave none selected to match any service.
- In the last N days - leave empty to look at all time.
- Total spend - leave empty for no spend threshold. Only completed sessions count.
You can combine up to 10 conditions, and a client must match all of them (AND logic).
Examples
| Goal | Conditions |
|---|---|
| Win back inactive clients | Client HAS HAD at least 1 session (all time) AND HAS NOT HAD any session in the last 90 days |
| Reward loyal clients | Client HAS HAD at least 10 sessions |
| Upsell a specific service | Client HAS HAD at least 1 session of “Initial assessment” in the last 60 days |
| Target high-value clients | Client HAS HAD sessions with a total spend of at least 500 |
The audience is evaluated when the campaign sends, not when you create or schedule it. A client who books their first session tomorrow can still receive a campaign scheduled today, if they match the conditions at send time.
Unsubscribes
Timeblu handles marketing opt-outs for you:
- Every campaign email ends with an unsubscribe link. One click takes the client to a confirmation page (no login needed) - and they can re-subscribe from the same page if they change their mind.
- Modern inboxes (Gmail, Yahoo) also show their own one-click unsubscribe button for Timeblu campaign emails; it works the same way.
- Once a client opts out, they are excluded from every future campaign - email and SMS alike. Their sessions, reminders, and booking notifications are not affected; opting out only covers marketing.
On the campaign detail page, recipients that were skipped because they opted out are listed with the Unsubscribed status, so your delivery numbers always add up.
Unsubscribing is the client’s choice and Timeblu enforces it on every send. If a client asks you in person to stop receiving campaigns, simply have them use the unsubscribe link in any campaign email.
