  • Blue (default)
  • Green

Colors help you quickly identify which calendar a session belongs to when viewing all calendars together.

Working Hours per Calendar

Each calendar has its own working hours configuration. This allows you to:

  • Set different hours for different locations
  • Have different availability for different services
  • Configure team member schedules individually

Setting Working Hours

  1. Open Settings > Calendar and, under My Calendars, click the calendar’s pencil icon (it is also next to its name under My calendars in the calendar sidebar)
  2. Scroll to the Working Hours section
  3. For each day of the week:
    • Toggle the day on/off
    • Set start and end times

Viewing Multiple Calendars

All Calendars View

By default, Timeblu shows sessions from all your calendars. Each session displays in its calendar’s color.

Filtering by Calendar

To focus on specific calendars:

  1. Look for the calendar list in the sidebar
  2. Click the checkbox next to each calendar to show/hide
  3. Only checked calendars display their sessions

Quickly focus on one calendar by clicking its name, then toggle others off.

Ordering Your Calendars

The order of the list is the order of the columns in Day view and of the lanes in Week view. To change it:

  1. Hover over a calendar in the sidebar
  2. Drag it by the handle that appears on the right, or use the up and down arrows
  3. The new order is saved instantly and applies on every device and in every calendar list

On mobile, open the calendar list and drag by the handle on the left, or use the arrows. New calendars are added at the end. The default calendar (the star) is no longer always first: place it wherever you like.

What each calendar is doing now

The Today entry of the calendar’s right panel lists every calendar on screen with its current state: the appointment in progress and when it ends, “Free until” the next one or closing time, “Outside hours” or “Closed today”. It reads each calendar’s own working hours, so a split schedule shows its midday gap as outside hours.

Linking Services to Calendars

Services can be linked to specific calendars, controlling where they’re available for booking.

  1. Go to Services
  2. Edit a service
  3. Under Linked Calendars, select which calendars offer this service
  4. Save the service

Calendar Limits by Plan

There is no limit: every plan includes unlimited calendars. If some of your calendars were switched off in the past, when plans had a calendar limit, turn them back on in Settings > Calendar > My Calendars.

Managing Calendars

Editing a Calendar

  1. Open Settings > Calendar and, under My Calendars, click the calendar’s pencil icon (it is also next to its name under My calendars in the calendar sidebar)
  2. Update name, color, description, or working hours
  3. Click Save

Deactivating a Calendar

An inactive calendar is hidden from your public booking page, but keeps all of its existing sessions and settings. Use it for seasonal locations or team members on leave - it’s fully reversible.

You can change a calendar’s status in two ways:

  • From the edit sheet: open the calendar, toggle the Active calendar switch in Basic Settings, and click Save Changes.
  • From the calendar list: click the power icon on the calendar’s row.

At least one calendar must stay active, so the last active calendar cannot be deactivated.

Deleting a Calendar

Deleting a calendar will also delete all sessions and events on that calendar. This action cannot be undone.

  1. Open Settings > Calendar
  2. Under My Calendars, click the calendar’s trash icon
  3. Confirm the deletion

Default Calendar

The first calendar you create becomes your default. When creating sessions:

  • Sessions default to your primary calendar
  • You can change the calendar in the session creation dialog

Online Booking with Multiple Calendars

When online booking is enabled, clients can select from available calendars that:

  1. Have the selected service linked
  2. Have available time slots
  3. Are set to be visible in booking

Calendar Selection in Booking

By default, clients see a “Specialist Selection” step where they can:

  • Choose a specific calendar/specialist
  • Select “Any Available” for automatic assignment

Auto-Assign Specialist

If you prefer clients not to choose a specialist, you can enable auto-assign on a per-service basis. When enabled, the specialist selection step is skipped entirely and the system automatically picks the best available specialist at booking time.

This is useful for services where the client doesn’t have a preference - for example, a massage studio where any therapist can perform the service.

Best Practices

Naming Conventions

Use clear, descriptive names:

  • “Sarah - Individual Sessions”
  • “Office A - Group Therapy”
  • “Zoom Sessions”

Color Strategy

  • Use similar colors for related calendars
  • Use contrasting colors when viewing all at once
  • Be consistent with your color meanings

Working Hours Overlap

Be careful with overlapping hours across calendars if you’re managing them yourself-you could accidentally double-book.
