Calendar Settings
Customize how your calendar looks and behaves. These settings affect your calendar display and scheduling defaults.
Accessing Calendar Settings
Navigate to Settings > Calendar from the sidebar.
Display Settings
Calendar Start Hour
Set what time your calendar day begins:
- Options: 5 AM to 12 PM
- Default: 9 AM
- Impact: Times before this are hidden by default
Choose an earlier start time if you have early sessions, or a later time if you typically start late.
Week Start Day
Choose which day your week starts on:

This affects:
- Week view layout
- Month view layout
- Date pickers throughout the app
Show Cancelled Sessions
Control whether cancelled sessions appear on your calendar:

| On | Cancelled sessions shown (grayed out) |
| Off | Cancelled sessions hidden |
Keep it on to maintain a complete history, or turn it off for a cleaner view.
Show Pending Sessions
Control visibility of pending (unconfirmed) sessions:

| Off | Only confirmed sessions displayed |
Hiding pending sessions doesn’t delete them-they still exist and can receive confirmations.
Time & Date Settings
These settings are in Settings > General but affect calendar display:
Timezone
Your timezone affects:
- How times are displayed
- When reminders are sent
- Online booking slot calculations
Important: Set this correctly to avoid scheduling confusion with clients in different timezones.
Date Format
Choose your preferred date display:

Choose 12-hour or 24-hour time:

Working Hours
Working hours define when you’re available for sessions. They’re configured per calendar.
Setting Working Hours
- Go to Calendars section
- Select a calendar
- Click Working Hours tab
- For each day:
- Toggle day on/off
- Set start time
- Set end time
- Save changes
Example Configuration

Split Working Hours
You can define multiple time ranges per day (up to 4) to account for breaks in your schedule - for example, a lunch break or split shifts.
- In the Working Hours tab, click Add range on the day you want to split
- Set the start and end times for each range
- To remove an extra range, click the remove button next to it
Example: A day with a lunch break might look like:

Use the Copy Monday to weekdays shortcut to apply Monday’s working hours (including splits) to Tuesday through Friday in one click.
Working Hours Impact
Working hours affect:

| Online booking | Only working hours are bookable |
| Manual booking | Warning shown outside hours |
| Availability | Clients see only available slots |
Calendar-Specific Settings
Each calendar can have unique settings:
Per-Calendar Working Hours
Different schedules for different calendars:
- “Morning Sessions” calendar: 7 AM - 12 PM
- “Afternoon Sessions” calendar: 1 PM - 6 PM
- “Weekend Sessions” calendar: Sat-Sun only
Per-Calendar Booking Settings
When using online booking:
- Advance Booking Days - How far ahead clients can book
- Minimum Notice - Hours before a slot becomes unbookable
Buffer time (prep time between sessions) is configured per service, not per calendar. This allows different services to have different preparation times. See Service Settings for details.
Default Session Settings
Default Status
Choose the default status for manually created sessions:
- Pending
- Confirmed
Notification Preferences
Calendar-related notifications are configured in Settings > Notifications:
- New booking notifications
- Session reminders
- Cancellation notifications

Resetting to Defaults
To reset calendar settings:
- Go to Settings > Calendar
- Look for Reset to Defaults option
- Confirm the reset
- Settings return to factory defaults
Resetting affects display settings only, not your sessions, events, or working hours.
Settings Sync
Your calendar settings are:
- Account-level - Same across all devices
- Synced automatically - Changes apply immediately
- Per-user - Each team member has their own
Recommended Settings
For Coaches/Therapists
- Start hour: 8 AM or 9 AM
- Week starts: Monday
- Show cancelled: Off
- Time format: 12-hour (US) or 24-hour (EU)
For Team Environments
- Consistent settings across team
- Use calendar colors to distinguish members
- Keep cancelled sessions visible for records
For Part-Time Practitioners
- Configure working hours precisely
- Consider multiple calendars for different roles
- Use events to block non-working time
Troubleshooting
Settings Not Saving
- Check your internet connection
- Refresh the page
- Try again
- Contact support if persistent
Calendar Display Issues
- Clear browser cache
- Check timezone setting
- Verify working hours configuration
Wrong Times Displaying
- Verify timezone is correct
- Check date/time format settings
- Ensure browser time is accurate
