Appearing on Google (SEO)
💎Max Search engine optimization is part of the Mini-Site, available on Max plans.
When someone searches your business name on Google, you want your page to be the first result. Your mini site ships ready for that - most of the work happens automatically, and a few settings let you fine-tune it.
What Timeblu does automatically
As soon as your mini site is enabled, every visit from Google sees:
- A real page title and description - your business name and tagline, not a generic label.
- Structured data (schema.org) - your services with prices, opening hours, star rating, FAQ and photos, in the exact format Google uses to build rich results (the review stars and details shown directly on the results page).
- A sitemap - your page is listed in Timeblu’s sitemap so Google discovers it without you doing anything.
- One single address per business - your page exists in several interface languages, and Timeblu tells Google which one is the official one, so they don’t compete with each other.
- A share preview - a card with your cover photo and business name appears when your link is shared on WhatsApp or Instagram.
New pages take from a few days to a few weeks to appear in search results - Google decides the pace. Publishing your link in more places (see below) speeds it up.
What you can configure
In Booking Setup → SEO:
| Setting | What it does |
|---|---|
| Site language | The language Google indexes your page in. Defaults to your dashboard language - change it if your clientele speaks another one. |
| Business category | Tells Google exactly what you are (nail salon, hair salon, spa…). Pick the same category you use in your Google Business Profile. |
| Structured address | Street, city, postal code and country as separate fields - this is what powers local searches like “nail salon near me”. |
| Search result description | The text shown under your name on Google. If empty, your tagline is used. |
The step that matters most: Google Business Profile
Everything above prepares your page. But for searches of your business name, the strongest signal is your free Google Business Profile (the card with the map, hours and reviews on the right of the results):
- Create or claim your profile at business.google.com .
- Set your mini site link (
booking.timeblu.com/...) as the profile’s website, or as the appointment link. - Use the same category and address as in your Timeblu SEO settings - consistency between both is a trust signal for Google.
Also add your link to your Instagram bio and any other profile you have. Every real place your link lives helps Google trust and rank your page.
Good to know
- Changing your username changes your address - the old link stops working and any position earned on Google is lost. Pick a username and keep it.
- Edits made in Booking setup (branding, photos, FAQs) go live right away; other changes (services, calendar hours) can take up to 5 minutes (pages are cached for speed).
- Your dashboard, client data and booking flows are never indexed - only the public mini site is.
